hi Mikael

yes, I've been at a Nascar race for the first time, but I if I stay healthy for a while longer, it wasnt the last time

I've seen CART when they were at the Lausitzring (with the horrible Zanardi crash), and saw a lot of F1 races(best was in Monza 1987), its nothing compared to the NASCAR show.
The crowd is amazing, they always cheer for their drivers and shout at the others (=Jeff Gordon mostly hehe), and the drivers take every risk to make a move forward. At Michigan when the 43 cars get into T3 with highest speed you cant imagine that T4 spits them out to the frontstraight - amazingly it mostly does without a crash.
3hours 20 minutes if I remember right was the race, and I wasnt bored a single minute.

ciao

Wolfgang

Thanks for explaining that to me. It sure sounds cool especially if one single NASCAR race can overshadow all the other motorsport events youve gone to.. I just gotta try that as soon as possible!

I live within an hour of where you went in Ontario! Years ago I went to school in Guelph, and I still travel through there a lot. I've been to the Delaware race track a few times to see the CASCAR guys race, good racing to watch. Great site!
