Your setups ARE very realistic,
indicative of a driver with an AWESOME crew chief
(in this case that would be you)

I owe You a beer or two

Hi,
versuch mal, ein bisschen Gewicht (2-3 Klicks) nach vorne zu verschieben...das funktioniert eigentlich auf allen Strecken.

tight long run - 06-18-2004, 04:25 AM

This race set is awsome, I just lowered the LF psi, and raised the rear springs to 350 400 to keep it from snapping around on exit. The problem I have is it gets real tight in after 20 laps. I tried lower front bar, less wedge, 9.0 on the right track bar, but it starts too lose then. Any suggestions for fixing a late run push? What would moving the left side of the track bar do?

great work byt the way!!!
Sally

great setup - 06-18-2004, 07:00 AM

Thank you for the setup. It was a little loose so I moved weight forwad 1 click. The Qual setup I had to move the weight forward 2 clicks, got the pole with a 195+, My first in that league. I also got the win! I ran out of fuel in the pits after the last lap (50laps).
Thanks
Larry

@ Sally:
I suppose you're running too hard...with the changes you posted here, I could hardly keep the car on track running a normal race pace...

Okay you guys, give the rookie the goods...I've tried to run a practice Qual with the qual set and can not keep it from coming around. I've watched the replay untill my eyes started bleeding and i just don't see how you can run that set as hard as you do with fresh tires. I've tried counter steering, easing off the throttle, just about everything I can think of. Need some advise here. Also the race trim is loose enough that I have to run a couple off 39 to 40 second laps before I can push it, well by the time it comes in, the pack will have left me.

Thanks for any help

Won't be able to send one until tonight when I get home from work at 5 p.m. California time. What time will that be in Germany? I've got one Michigan race tonight and one Sunday night.

I'll send it over and check back with you on Saturday.

I run "no-aids" "cockpit view" "90-95% force feed"

No force feedback? That's interesting...haven't tried it that way! Are all your sets made with no FF?

I'll send two replays...one with FF and one without. And again many thanks for your time and effort you put into this sim. At your age now you're gonna be a guru for sure in the future...just don't go sit on top of an isolated mountain top where we can't reach you. LOL
