My bad lol. I meant 31.4. I guess I just looked at it wrong or something. Sorry to confuse. Anyway, is a 31.4 a decent time? Conditions were 70 degrees, clear weather, and no wind.

I can hit 30.8s with my current setup I'm going to upload during the week, so I guess it was 30.9s with the old one.

Hi, Thanks for the great sets, they are a real help. Makes racing fun on the open leagues for me. I find the sets very stable and fast enough to get the job done

Well said Volker, Noway these low 30's are @70Deg.

There are alot of Kiddie servers with high grip, but thats not Sim.Racing.
Id say a 30.8 maybe 30.7 early in the run with a good draft would be the best you can do.
If im wrong, well I maybe, LOL.

Whats your lowest speed in the corners early on in the run? I am really lucky I can hold 150mph throughout the track.

About the same here I think, tires don't like higher speeds.

Oh no I must be doing something wrong. I get tight. I am running 2x and my right sides go yellow about 18 laps in. Worse I am slow. But I just dont seem to be able to get into the turns as low as others. What am I doing wrong that I am getting tight, leaning on the right sides and am slow? help Thanks!

Cobra, most likely over cookin it in. Slow down and go fast. If you get in too deep you just push, if you get back to it to soon you push. Smooth, easy and fast on this "flat track". Your right front tire temp will tell the story, as VH says keep it below 235 in the middle. Hope this helps.

finally i got some grip with the track
started easing off sooner and did a 30.8 with qual set
i guess that still wont be enough to get into the race seeing u do that with race set

feels like car turns in too fast into T1 and i have to corect it mid corner,
are there any small adjustments i could do to fix that, or should i just hold a bit higher line on entry?

Not sure...
I'm going to post updated setups tonight or tomorrow anyway, maybe that already cures it.

UPDATED Set-Up - 03-10-2005, 03:43 AM

I downloaded the update V.H., I will test it later, I thought the original version was fine, It was great on a long run if you took care of the RF early, Anyway, it will be interesting to see what you did, Thanks for the fine work, sure it will be better than what Jr.E will do this weekend at Vegas, Odd's are at the office he won't finish on the lead lap this weekend, I think he could'nt possibly be worse than last year......could he?......Time will tell!!!....Later.

Volker, the setup seems real good.

On a 31 lap run I started off running 31.1's and finished running high 31.6's with both RS tires going yellow at lap 31.

How does this compare with what you are doing? I'm not sure if I am starting too fast or not.

The right front was between 235.7 and 238.7 up until lap 30 and it jumped up to 243.7. Must have been pushing too hard at the end.

Thanks

BidsJr

Those are good lap times, starting with 31.1s is fine if you ask me.
