First of all let me say that this setup is fast and stable to drive, so thanks for your work. I have one question about it--one thing I noticed is that your RF caster setting (+3.25 I think) is much different than other sets I've tried (their RF caster is usually -2.0). Is this one of the things that makes the set so stable?
thanks for post'n your sets....havent tried the dega yet but your dover was fast for sure, i've been download'n your sets for awhile now. ty and keep up the good work. mick
Caster is the position of the upper ball joints in comparison to the lower ball joints.
Since nascar suspensions have not changed much, and are still loosley based on the typical upper/lower comtrol arm 2 ball joint setup. Negative caster occurs when shims are placed behind the rear adjusting bolt on the upper control arm, which moves the upper ball joint behind the lower ball joint. Thats what helps the steering wheel return to center when you let go of it. It will shorten the wheelbase but not by more than an inch or so. Factory performance cars usually have a caster setting in the negative range. Family cars are usually in the positive range.
