Nascar setups are awesome! - 11-30-2003, 12:50 AM

You guys are awesome! I now enjoy NR2003 much more. I have set personal new lap time records with your race setups. Contrary to popular belief, your setups are by far the best. Very stable and not "loose as a goose" as in other so-called "great" setup creators well known in the sim race community. How do you guys do it? I can't wait for more setups! Thank you for sharing your tremendous setups!

practice lol, thanks for the kind words Racin you keep us going!

one thing i noticed is to not have it loose as goose but loose enough to turn it mid corner, mid corner i personally believe is the most important thing to any setup by far, everything else is just extra

thanks again

help a fellow sim racer - 04-23-2008, 01:57 AM

Break A Leg Charity Race!!!!!

Here is the deal guys… a friend and a fellow sim racer over at a league named xnsrl had a major accident at Texas motor speedway three weeks ago when he fell off the top of an rv in the infield. When he fell off he shattered his tibia and fibula and broke the upper bone in his thigh leaving him sitting in the hospital for about a week and half having surgery inserting rods and screws!!!! I know you are sitting there wondering why i am telling you all of this but I am getting to all that in just a few lines but first off I need to tell you a little about Mark Jackson… He is a mechanic by trade and has just become a father like 2 months ago. With all this being said as you very well know mechanics don’t make a great deal of money and his wife isn’t working since she just had a new baby and from what mark was telling me that he doesn’t have any insurance to help with the bills so right now he is trying to sale everything he owns to try to keep the power and food going till he will be able to get back on his feet. So a few of us at XNSRL came with an Idea to have a charity race to try to help mark with some money to help with food and bills. We currently have a few things that are being donated for prizes such as a few wheels and computer video cards. We have not set a date as of yet but we are going to meet tomorrow to get all this finalized. The info I do know is that we are going to run a 50% race at Texas motor speedway with an entry of 10.00 payable before any qual heat races. All proceeds will be going to mark Jackson and his family… so if you are interested in running this charity event please email me with name & car number @ paultravis01@cox.net once we get all the info set in stone I will be posting and emailing everybody back..

Thanks for your support
