I am racing a championship and I started with daytona trying to practice. Well I am good in practice but no matter what I try or do in qualifying I can't get no better than 43 in qualifying. I run 100 percent tape I run a 3.158 top end and 4 gear is 8.555. Plz help me with this gear thing? Also I am pushing up real bad in 1 and 2. I changed my line to right against the apron but will always push coming off the corner exit. I gave as much loosing as possible that I know. thanks all.

If the AI cars are faster, that doesn't mean anything. They don't use the same physics as you do, instead their speed is determined by the AI strength percentage when you start the championship and by a number of entries in the track.ini of each track.

they AI cars are set to 100% so that I can get better. It's crazy I have such a hard time qualifying. The best I have done was 34 and I having been throwing everything at it.
