Has anyone made sets for the nascar 2005 sim made by first? How much tweaking can be done to the 03 sim sets to make them fasterfor 05'

Are you talking about the 2005 mod? If so, 2003 sets transfer very well with a few tweaks. Because most of the tracks have improved grip, you end up needing to lower gearing and generally loosen it up a bit (weight back, track bar/wedge, etc).

I'm finding a lot of my sets are turning too much, because of the grip, and have to be modded just for that. And I'm still getting run over

Taking out rear wt isn't enough. And it doesn't immediately equate to speed. So far, I'm using a LOT more tape than I did in N2003 and having to change the setup to allow it. Tire wear so far as been pretty much non-existant.
