Kentucky JS Cup Setup - 02-28-2009, 01:10 AM

Hi All,

Please find cup setups for Kentucky (JS versions).

If you are running against the AI, in the original version, they hesitate at the start/finish line. The attached file KentuckyLP fixes that. It includes race.lp, maxrace.lp and minrace.lp as well as a new track.ini. Note that I have only really tested the track.ini for cup so you should back up the files that originally came with the track so you can revert to them later.

Cheers

Brad

Hi All,

Am currently testing at this track, and will post a new setup shortly.

My current thinking is that it is a bit hard to drive on cold tires and it redlines a little early, so am looking at Front Bias +1 click and Diff ratio -1 click.

Expect an update in the next week or so.

Cheers

Brad

New race version added in the first post BH09 version. It has a lot less front bias and a bit more rear spring split. Some other minor changes include 5% less tape due to overheating in heavy traffic and also one click less of diff (if I remember correctly).

Cheers

Glad you like them. Racing against the AI is not much fun when they slow down 20mph at the stripe! And yes I believe Kentucky_07 was very close to the JS version.

Cheers

If anyone is interested. I changed a few ini lines of kentucky_07.
I had to raise the ai_line to 1.05 and with ai_squeeze_pcnt to 0.45 it was a pretty exciting race. merge_to_pit_line_dlong to 1550.0 that the ai comes down pit road like in real life. And merge_to_pit_line_length to 550.0
