Question No Plate Talladega setup? - 12-10-2004, 05:48 PM

I'm terrible with setups. I limit myself to adjusting premade ones when I do open setup races (I'm still learning to drive, then I'll figure out setups).

Anyway, I am trying to find a cup setup for Taladega No Plate. I was thinking of starting with a Coca-cola setup and trying to work that into something, but was hoping someone here could give me more help (and save me a lot of time fighting with the car and the wall). All help is appreciated.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Thanks,

PA

Joeldaddydirt88,

The setups being referred to are for Nascar Racing 2003, not EA Sports Nascar 09, and you can't simply apply the same settings and expect it to work.

I haven't seen anyone posting Nascar09 setups around here, as the EA games are essentially Arcade rather than Sim. You may have more luck doing a google search and finding sites dedicated to Nascar09 eg Nascar 09 Setup Garage - Home and there are others.

Cheers

Brad

BRAD,

thanks 4 the answer brad. i have a setup that can run 48.5's pretty consi. but it still lacks work. i dont have time with 2 jobs and a little girl. do u play nascar09? or know anyone who does that i could show the setup 2 and see if they can tweek it up and make it better? like team mates. LOL... the setup is for NSCS at daytona. let me know or hook me up with a partner thats good and we can work together on a setup.

thanks, joedaddydirt88

Unfortunately I don't know anyone who plays it.

Having just watched the actual Daytona 500 it seems to me you can lose about 10-15 spots in a single lap if people gang up on you. It may not be a setup issue if 48.5 is a good lap.

If a car behind is getting a good draft then the only decent strategy is to block to try to slow the momentum they have from the draft.

Cheers

Brad
