Exclamation FTSR - The place to race and much more... - 02-06-2008, 08:06 AM

Not Just Online Racing An Online Community

Full Throttle Sim Racing has been getting ready and now it is time to get down to business in 2008-A. The 2008-A season starts the week of Feburary 10th. In FTSR, we promote clean driving, positive attitudes, and great racing. We welcome all drivers who wish to participate in these conditions to join us and find out what online racing is supposed to be. Below is the series we will be running in 2008-A and a short description:

FTSR Cup Series – As the elite division in FTSR, the Cup Series runs using the simocot v3 mod from simodified.com and using realistic damage and weather, 40% race length, and is run on Sunday nights at 9 pm EST. The settings used in the cup series promote the toughness and realism that most drivers look for as a challenge. If you are looking for a series that you can show true, raw talent, then this series is for you. FIRST RACE: FEB. 17th

FTSR Grand National Series – The second level of competition, the national series runs using fixed setups and weather, 35% race length, and run Saturday nights at 10 pm EST. We use the gns mod from project wildfire. This series shows the true driver talent as you compete using the same setup (fast) as everyone else to try and become one of the best. FIRST RACE: FEB. 16th

FTSR Truck Series – The most competitive series in FTSR, the truck series uses open setups, fixed weather, 30% race length, and runs on Thursday nights at 9 pm EST. We use the cts mod from project wildfire. See if you have what it takes to outperform the most competitive drivers in the league and become one of the best. FIRST RACE: FEB. 14th

FTSR Modified Series – The short track, door-to-door racing on the local tracks that everyone talks about, the modified series is the grassroots racing series of FTSR. Traveling all around the short tracks in the heart of America, the modified series run the whelem modified mod created by simodified.com. This series uses fixed weather and setups, 25%-30% race length, and competes on famous short tracks around the USA, making this one of the most intense and fierce racing around. Be prepared to see tight, close racing and many suprises along the way as you experience racing the way it should be in the FTSR modified series. FIRST RACE: FEB. 12th

FTSR ARCA Series – The FTSR ARCA Series is a training ground for young drivers to hone their skills and improve their driving. You can expect the rookies to really impress in this series and try to make a name for themselves as the compete for rides in other series. No champions of FTSR are allowed to compete in the ARCA series, meaning you can expect to see some new face come to the foreground and step-up in this series. The series uses fixed weather and setups, 30% race length, and the tracks that ARCA is famous for. This is gonna be one exciting series to be a part of and you can expect to see suprises around every turn. FIRST RACE: FEB. 11th

If you have read this far, I am very happy, but I want you to know we are not just another league that will not have any contact with you until race night. We are a community, and a fun-loving, laidback, easy going group of guys who love racing as much as the next guy. I am very happy to say that the groups of guys in FTSR are very helpful and welcome every one of our members with the warmth as much as the next guy. We welcome you to come and be a part of something. Don’t just come race, come be a part of something special. Come join us and see what the excitement is about. Even if you do not decide to race with us, check it out and come hang out with us. You are always welcome!
