Dan Lyon Rolls Out Guidelines for Internet Stock Car Racing (ISCAR)
Warren, PA– Dan Lyon rolled out the guidelines and features of his new league on a warm Friday night in Warren, PA. Lyon a familiar face in sim racing through his broadcasting at OLRtv and his race team Lyon Motorsports is putting the final touches on what has become the most talked about league in recent memory.
Over fifty owners/drivers were on hand as Lyon and his staff introduced the league to the eager future participants. ISCAR will combine some familiar features to its weekly racing series that have been borrowed from other leagues with of course an ISCAR twist to them. “We are not trying to reinvent the wheel that is for sure. We are just taking a realistic approach to sim racing without losing focus on what is important and that is having fun.” Said Lyon as he rolled through some of the features that racers can look forward to when ISCAR kicks off the 05B as in “beta” season in late August.
ISCAR will have a money system similar in ways to other leagues but ISCAR takes it a step further. One must find a way to get from their Cyber Race shop to the Cyber Race Track. This can be done by buying a team plane and hiring a pilot to get you there in class! ISCAR will also have a series for everyone to run. From the kid’s class to Late Models all the way up to the top level Elite Cup Series. Most of the series is as realistic as you can find in Sim Racing running realistic weather conditions and open setups.
ISCAR strives to not only provide a unique sim racing experience but one that will feel familiar to seasoned racers as well. The league looks forward to fielding quality over quantity fields with drivers that look forward to a realistic racing experience. If you are interested in owning a car, driving or both visit
