Competitive Racing for all Levels, 5 Days a Week - 10-23-2004, 11:42 PM

Thanks for your interest in RacingRoadHouse. I am RRH_forman400b, and I have been with the group since November of 2003. This is a great group of guys who take racing seriously, but still manage to have a great time. We don’t tolerate flaming or intentional wrecking or any other ‘negative’ actions. Sportsmanship is a high priority at RRH. We now have over 50 full time members. Below are a few simple steps you must perform to become a member. We are an adult league, therefore we require you to be 18 years or older to run in points races. Also, we use a voice communicator on our server, which is really a great asset to online racing. The good news is you can start racing right away!

Our servers are set for league racing on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Monday Night Mayhem is our rookie night. Open sets, 35% race, full damage, aids optional, and no yellows. We run 3-month sessions for Monday night. Rookies qualify and vets are welcome, but have to start in the rear.

Tuesday Night Men of Steel is our hardcore night. Do you have what it takes to run 50%, no aids, cockpit view, actual weather and yellows? We run with the Nextel Cup Series here, with quarterly winners and an overall winner. You must be able to hold your line and draft properly to run this series. The drivers here have experience racing hardcore; no aids with cockpit view. This is not a rookie event.

Thursday night Hammer Time is our IROC night. We use cup mod for this event and run fixed 'fast' setups. We run three-month sessions at 35%, no yellows. This is a no aids night. Rookies looking to gain no aids experience should run here, although you will need to hold a line. All views are available for IROC night.

Sunday Night Shootout is our signature event where we use qualifying heats to determine the starting grid. Win on another full points night and you get to skip the qualifiers. This series also runs the Nextel Cup schedule at 50% races, full damage, 2X pits, actual weather and yellows on. Aids for Sunday are optional.

RRATS is our Saturday afternoon league. Here we run the areo88 mod. This is also geared for the rookie driver, but no aids will be used. Caution flags are used for RRATS events and races are set at 55%. Of course, veterans are always welcome.

We also run occasional special events and often the server will be set for open racing.

Normally, Sunday, Monday and Thursdays are for full paid members only, but we are suspending that requirement until further notice.

Until recently, we were known as Rookie Roadhouse, so we have the know how and experience to get the novice driver pointed in the right direction.

The first thing you need to do (if you haven’t already) is to register on our website located here: http://bigbellysracin.us/index.php. Use your regular Sierra ID tag.

Once you’re registered, PM or email me for a trial number. Trial numbers are issued between 200 and 299. You will use this number while a trial or unpaid member. If and when you become a full paid member, PM me for a number of your choosing, provided it is available. Include at least 3 numbers in order of preference in case your first choice is taken.

You can join as a full member at any time by clicking the ‘PayPal’ icon on the upper right corner of our homepage. There, you will see the various options available to join. (Pretty cheap, if you ask me; 3 bucks a month). In addition to choosing your own number as a full member, you also get to upload your custom cars to our library.

In order to race in our servers, you must create a new Sierra ID with the RRH tag before your regular ID, like this (CAPS and underscore) RRH_forman400b. You must use this format, along with your correct name and number in order to receive points.

We use Teamspeak voice communication for our online races. It’s quite simple to download, install and use. All you need is a microphone, and speakers, or better yet, a headset. This is a great way to get help, get questions answered right away, and during the race, to communicate your moves on the track. On our homepage, click the ‘Teamspeak’ icon on the left side column.

Lastly and most importantly, you must read and understand our code of conduct and rules. You can find them here: http://www.bigbellysracin.us/modules.php?name=Sections&op=listarticles&secid=21

Wow, that’s a lot of racing.

If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to drop me a line, and I’ll get back to you ASAP.

Once again, you are welcome to join our league and I’ll see you on the track.
