Misc. Stuff - 09-30-2005, 10:04 PM

I will be uploading setups, mostly for open wheel cars until I run outta stuff to do. Then I might go try and tackle the "stock" cars.

How To save a setup:

X:\Program Files\rFactor\UserData\YourName\Settings\Destinati on Folder

Hope that helps!

Thanks,
Nick

Nicholas thank you very much for posting your sets again, always a good reference/starting point for me in past sims..

I gather these sets are for the advanced trainer, not the stock school car?

Cheers mate

Yes, these are for the rTrainer Advanced....I think you can take a setup for the rTrainer and use it and get it working right in the Advanced, because all these setups were built first for the rTrainer and when I got up to the rTrainer Advanced, it only took minor tweaking to get them how I liked the feel.

Cheers for your hard work Mr Morse.

Is it possible that you might be working on some F3 v1.2 setups in the near future?

I didn't know there was an update to the F3 mod, I'll have to go download that.

Nicholas I hope you've been up all night making F3 1.2 setups!

I can't wait.

Do you have any info that would be helpful in general for seting up an open wheel car? A site or something?

Thanks for all you do.

Right now I just experiement, I am not the best at it I think personally. I try to remember how the cars were setup in F12002 and that is what I base my work off of. I work real slow and change little because I think the cars need to be close to neutral on both sides since you go both left and right. I am thinking about incorporating the same thing I used to do for roadcourses with other games, where I would setup the car for more left turns, or more right turns, whichever the track has more, I should have 5-6 F3000 setups up by the end of the night. I am going to just stick with the tracks I know and do them in testing sessions.

Cheers!
Nick

Thanks Nicolas for your setup,

I will try the Rtrainer for Mills short this evening and will report in the appropriate thread.

Aloko.

*EDIT : I managed to do a 58' 556 with the Rtrainer (WITHOUT upgrades) and I thank you for that. Great setup !

Hi, I'm a beginner at online racing and don't know anything about car setups. I've bought rFactor and have been enjoying it a lot. I liked your setups for the rTrainer and prefer this car but since everyone is playing the PCC05 Mod I stopped playing the rt for a while. I found some setups for the PCC05 on the internet but there are still some key tracks which I don't have setups for. They are key tracks because they are always full. I have setups for: Brands Hatch Gp, Interlagos_V2_01, Mills Long, Mills Short and really would like setups for Toban Long, Birmingham_Long and Essington to start. Thanks.

Hi friends !!
I have also bought the game recently and I'm playing the F3euro mod, but I havenīt been able to find setups fpr the original tracks and also for Imola and Interlagos which are the ones I have tried so far. Any help will be appreciated !!!

Thanks,
