uploaded. See posting in my section. I'll keep it there this time to not clutter the What's new space in case some feedback arrives.

Well, probably there will be no feedback, as despite 10,000 visits to my TA site in the past two months, I have only heard from about 3 or 4 people. Even the folks in my leagues use them without ever saying anything, except when they don't like them :D

But anyway :)

I've been extremely busy beta testing something recently. Took a lot of time, but the new setups are so-to-speak a by-product of it. Since I was driving so much, I noticed a few more things about how to set the TAs up, and then I couldn't help but testing my findings on all the tracks (you'll have noticed that a lot of the replays are new as well) :)

Achim,
I guess myself and Bobo88 make up most of the replies :) We are both using your setups as we learn our way around these exciting cars.

AAMOF you two must be added, so all in all 6 people gave me some feedback. That's 33% among you and Bobo88 :)

Thanks!

Achim,
I just finished installing the latest setups. I like them. My Mosport time is 1.3 seconds faster now. Thank you very much. I also discovered that there are setups for tracks that I am missing, most notably Surfers. Is it worth chasing?

Thanks for the feedback Gary.

Surfers is not a bad track, but not that good for racing. Not a must-have IMO.

Just a quick update, 400 visits to my page since I uploaded and announced the new setups, 5 people said thanks, two gave me feedback (one is you).

One guy in my own league miraculously gained a few tenths last night at our current track and didn't say one word about the new setup... although when I asked him whether it's the new setup, he said 'maybe' :D

Well I have only just downloaded the TA sets - so thanking you in advance :)
Is there anywhere that I could find TA sets for the retail tracks ?

You're welcome!

I'm sorry, I don't know who might have TA setups for the ovals. I've never seen anyone talk about TA on ovals.

It is sad that we dont respond when setups are provided for us. I for one am guilty, but will take this opportunity to thank you for the setups you have provided. I have used them to good effect and really appreciate the work you put into them

Shoot any heathen who runs TA on an oval. Trans Am is road racing, and trying to run these cars on ovals is just plain stupid

Achim,
I see it has been very quiet here. Maybe the guys, myself included, are just having too much fun driving. I am using your setups exclusively and find they suit me just fine.

Happy Holidays and I thank you again for the setups.

Please let me apologize for not thanking you for the set-ups.
I have been using them for over a year, even before this web-site.
Now if I could even come CLOSE to your time's!
Thank you again

I dont run those cars but i can say this, everywhere on the i-net i go i see you mentioned when it comes to those cars and tracks ...so you must be doing something right. :)

Ditto... I find them very useful and use them almost exclusively. On some tracks they are a bit too loose for me, but I tighten them with a few clicks of the roll bars and then I'm good to go :) .

Thank you so much guys, this is really a Christmas surprise :) thank you for the kind words!

It has indeed become quiet here, a pity actually.

The TransAms seem to be quite successful though. My setup site has, since the release of the patch, seen a tremendous increase of visits as compared to when I was still posting road course setups for the Cup cars (no bragging intended, 25000 visits since September), so I assume that there must be a lot of people worldwide driving them currently. The TPTCC probably added to that, and PWF's TA mod will add even more I hope.

Regarding the driveability of my setups, for the Cup cars I used to post setups somewhat modded for driveability. But then a few people said they'd like to drive the same ones I use, so I decided to uploaded them unchanged for a while and see how people like the original ones.

I've heard a few comments from people saying they're too hard to drive now, but then, I'm not offering the setups as one-for-all solutions. I actually expect everyone to modify them a bit to their personal liking, I'm just trying to offer a fairly well tuned-in base setup from where it's a little easier to find the balance you prefer.

Anyway, Merry Christmas Gentlemen!
