The COT mods are nothing but cup cars that look a bit different (or trucks, as mentioned by Richard in an earlier post). The body of the car is only a graphical add-on just like the entire rest of the mod, so it also bottoms out like a cup car, throws the same kind of sparks while doing that etc.
