David,

Good to see you are still around - thought you might have stopped sim racing after stepping back from revamped.

The only tracks that I know of with chassis 5 are Coca Cola Superspeedway and Talladega 70's - 80's, both of which I have posted setups for in this forum (although I'm not really a guru).

Talladega 70's-80's may be more instructive, as it is more similar to the shapes of most speedways, and it is closer in length, and thirdly I have used 2/-7 camber for reasons I will expland on.

Because Papyrus only produced one track with Chassis type 5, my hypothesis (not sure how to prove / disprove) is that they would not have gone to the trouble of making a separate physics type - rather this is likely to be chassis type 1 without the restrictor plate (and of course the fixing of the rear springs at 350).

So if my hypothesis is correct, a good start would be to look at comments and setups by Volker and others regarding Daytona and Talladega and try some of the peculiar things that occur for setups on those tracks (2/-7 camber, tire pressures at 60 degress on all tires, and maybe even positive wedge (from memory Volker used +150, but may be mistaken)).

Hope this helps

Cheers

Brad
