You can also adjust (=lower) the tire heat value in the track.ini, but if you want it to work online, the server's track.ini has to be modified as well.

Well, another side note on that grip adjustment...
Increasing grip is definitely the wrong way to archieve more realistic lap times. In fact, they have less grip but more engine power in real life than we have in the sim.
