Hey Volker, Just wondering...
What chassis do you make your setups for? I run them in my Dodge with great success, but at certain tracks (Michigan, Dover, and Darlington) I have this problem with the car bottoming out going into turn one. I have tryed setting the car up higher, but the only thing that gets it to stop is raising the spring rates. At Michigan I don't mind it throwing a few sparks, its kinda like a governor so you don't overshoot the corner, but at Darlington it makes the car walk up the track in a uncontrolled maner (The car always walks up turn one, but when you bottom out it Skates up the hill, not cool). I am guessing that you make your sets for a chevy, but I don't really see why it would matter since the cars all weigh the same (in theory anyway). If you get a second try loading your Darlinton set into a Dodge chassis and go see if it skates up the hill on you... It could just be the way I drive...But after the same result at three different tracks I just have to wonder....
Thanks Droctor K #321.
